Sona Mohapatra Reacts To Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Selective Feminism’ Jibe At Anushka Sharma: ‘Kangana Hasn’t Stood Up For Anyone But Her Own Self’
Sunil Gavaskar commented on Virat Kohli’s batting during an IPL 2020 match, and he passed a comment while talking about Virat’s video with wife Anushka Sharma. Soon after, Anushka Sharma slammed Sunil Gavaskar for his remark on her and Virat Kohli. Sunil Gavaskar had later clarified what he meant and said that the statement was being blown out of proportion. Kangana Ranaut then took a dig at Anushka Sharma for her ‘selective feminism’, stating that when Kangana was called ‘haramkhor’, Anushka remained silent. Now, Sona Mohapatra, while talking about Kangana, has also reacted to this jibe at Anushka, and asked the Manikarnika actress to gt herself some feminist friends.

Kangana had tweeted, “#Anushka remained quiet when I was threatened and called Haramkhor but today the same misogyny coming to bite her, I condemn the fact that she was dragged in to cricket by #SunilGavaskar but selective feminism is equally uncool.” Sona Mohapatra first pointed out that she recently discovered Kangana had blocked her, and said that while she wants to criticize everyone, she doesn’t know how to take criticism herself. Sona then tweeted, “Also,Kangana hasn’t ever stood up for anyone but her own self & hasn’t acknowledged anyone who has cheered her in any case. That’s not a change maker or even thought leader of any worth.Yes,she’s been brave to call out some of the industry’s ills. That’s all. Will call her bluff.”

She further wrote, “& since someone shared her latest lament about Anushka Sharma et all.I’ll say this, please get yourself some feminist friends KR,better advisors. The ‘haramkhor’ statement was wrong, yes, party politics, not ‘misogynistic’ as u claim. Don’t play the victim woman card. Hurts women.” Take a look:
